VINCENT COMET ENGINE & FRAME, MATCHING NUMBERS, GOOD HISTORY AND PROVENENCE

Vincent Comet parts with matching numbers. 4 owners from new ! (Apologies for 0 feedback account, havent used my old account for ages and can't remember the login's, feel free to call, number at the bottom) In 1985 my neighbour here in Cornwall bought this lovely Comet, shortly afterwards I bought it from him and had not used it massively when it was stolen from where I had it stored. At the time this was reported to the Police, and the Vincent Owners Club were alerted to keep an eye out, however nothing ever turned up. Fast forward to a few years ago when I was alerted to an internet advert for Vincent Comet parts. My curiosity was aroused and so I went for a look, armed with my original log book (just in case) and guess what!, it was my bike, so the local police were duly notified and the vendor relieved of the goods. Unfortunately the rest of the bike has never turned up but this is what was retrieved. Just to clarify, there is ONLY the engine and rear frame member, however they are original matching numbers components. All the correct paperwork has been completed and the bike is no longer registered as stolen with DVLA and I have the logbook in my name. The parts come with lots of provenance including numerous bills going back through the 1970s / 80s and the Original Green Logbook !! If you already own a Comet which does not have matching numbers, these parts will add huge value to your rapidly increasing investment, and If you are looking to build a bike from parts there...
