1954 Velocette LE 200cc restoration project or for spares / barn find
For sale here is my 1954 Velocette LE classic british motorcycle. .PLEASE be in no two minds re condition, It is a full on restoration project NOT a quick 'wash & brush up' it really is 'barn find' condition . Bought on a whim without realising the extent of work required which I don't have the time or patience for. . 90% complete BUT MISSING CYLINDER HEADS (as well as poss other parts - I'm no expert on these machines.) & so engine seized & will not turn over, does however come WITH an additional cylinderblock/gearbox assy NO V5 or old type logbook & NO KEY. Have checked with DVLA & reg no. is NOT on current system but could be retained IF applied for via owners club (details easily found on net) but would be NON TRANSFERRABLE VIEWING STRONGLY ADVISED TO SEE FULL EXTENT OF WORK NEEDED. ONE GOOD POINT THOUGH, DUE TO AGE IS MOT AS WELL AS TAX EXEMPT !!
