Triumph 5ta 1957 project classic
1957 Triumph 5ta Welcome to the auction for my beloved Triumph , the story so far of this classic British bike goesas follows motorcycle purchased from new used for a few years given to the son then son stops using it and its left in a shed for years, then son decides to restore it bike... is stripped into parts then left again for years then i bought it ! so 2 family owners from new ,i have the old type log book for the bike but never put it in my name so it still states 1 previous keeper on it . it was always my intention to re build this bike without the bathtub fairing so it was more the classic Triumph look so the fairing was sold .it was also a case of i wanted it to look like a museum piece as perfect as i could get it so alot of the original parts were not good enough nearly everything is restored or brand new old stock. i have spent a hell of alot of money on this bike its been an ongoing project buying parts as and when for 4 years but due to changes in circumstance with regret it has to go before its finished. Engine this bike was a runner when it was stopped being used i was told ive not had it running but it turns free with good compression and the gearbox selects gears . frame has had some modification ie removal of bath tub fittings and new brackets for seat,tool box ,mudguard ect welded on .new foot pegs and new rubbers totally rebuilt as new by professional wheel restoration company at great cost ,front and rear wheels ,stainless rims ,new spokes new old stoc...
