1959 Matchless G2, 250cc, original eng / frame, excellent runner on the road!

1959 Matchless G2, 250cc Here is a well sorted and very original Matchless G2 250cc. These models are hard to find in good working order like this one ! This example is an excellent starter . The speedometer is working OK and the electrics are charging well with good lights. Brakes are pretty good and handling is nice. This is a lovely, lighter weight machine for anyone who enjoys pottering around the lanes it’s perfect! There is a V5C registration certificate , registration 971 UYE . The bike left the factory on 5th January 1959. Frame number is 3016, engine number is 59/G2 2519. There is an AJS & MAtchless Owners’ club dating certificate that confirms the engine & frame are the originals. The bike is pre-60 MOT exempt and it has historic class (free) road tax until Feb 2015.
