BSA LIGHTNING
For sale is my a65 lightning,its a 1964 fitted with a 1966 spitfire motor that matches the v5 in my name,i have been working on the the bike for over a year now and is being sold as an ongoing running project with lots of work done and requiring messing, fettling and finishing,the work on the motor is as follows srm did the following polished the crank and fitted new big end shells fitted new billet conrods new tming side roller bearing to the existing devimead end fed crank new drive side bearing new cam bearings plus a new high flow oil pump and other bits and pieces that amounts to over £1200 other work to the motor includes the head has new guides valves and springs (see photo) and two new amal premier carbs and a new main bearing in the gearbox,+ 40 rebore with new pistons and rings boyer ignition including twin spark coil On cycle side both wheels are rebuilt the front being stainless with the qd hub powder coated and brake drum skimmed,new ace bars with the standard ones to go,rep clubman seat with led stop lights,new centre stand,re chromed gaurds,the list goes on and on, what I have not got receipts for I have a photo and a folder now please be aware that although the bike has had to much spent on it the clutch is still dragging there is no rev counter cable there are marks on it including a couple of dints in the tank,in general it still wants attention in different areas, the bike is sorn and is 50 years old so I give no warranty and is sold as seen,you are welcome...
