BSA Bantam D14/4 (Bushman Colours) 1969 12 Months tax and test *******************************************************************************************************************************************I AM VERY PLEASED TO BE ABLE OFFER FOR SALE AGAIN THIS BEAUTIFUL BSA BANTAM. THIS IS BEING RE-ADVERTISED AS UPON INSPECTION IT WAS HIGHLIGHTED THE BATTERY WAS NOT FULLY CHARGING AS ONE WOULD EXPECT. I HAVE THEREFORE HAD THE STATOR PROFESSIONALLY FULLY RE-CONDITIONED. I HAVE ALSO PURCHASED A BRAND NEW 6 VOLT BATTERY. ******************************************************************************************************************************************I bought this bike last summer and my intention was to use it to ride to the Manx Grand Prix this year. Now its somewhere near to finished, a couple of spins around the estate and a trip across the Lancashire Moors have highlighted that its just not for me and that I need to stick with my modern trail bikes. I did all the work with good intention, hoping that I would be able to use it, but its become apparent that it doesn’t suit me and that maybe I was expecting too much. Despite this, I have really enjoyed working on it at weekends and evenings. The bike had previously been modified featuring some similar parts to a Bushman, based on a D14/4 (4 speed gearbox) with matching frame and engine numbers. New parts include: Frame, swingarm, rear mudguard, chainguard, battery holder, inner panels and rear rack have all been newly powder...
