BSA Ariel 3
Ariel 3 for Sale. Having recently got back in to Motocross my workshop is now too full, so the Ariel has been elected to be sold. The MOT ran out recently and I have no qualms about entering it for another, just on such a low value bike it's not really worth my time. Has 3 Schwalbe tyres with plenty of tread left. One of the photos show a Dell'Orto SHA carb, I will only include this with offers over a certain threshold, but the original is included with a spare manifold. The original carb does need an overhaul and the Dell'Orto needs jetting properly if it is going to be used. The engine was rebuilt a few miles ago, as the piston ring turned out to be in four pieces, and a head gasket was fitted as this was also missing. On the original carb it runs strongly and doesn't miss a beat as my father used it to get around the city. I also have a folder of bits including a parts list, workshop manual an old style V5 for the first owner, plus a few other bits. The price is maybe a little high, I'm not really sure what it's worth as the prices I've seen these sell for varies so much, so offers are welcome, as is a viewing. I'd rather people messaged me through Ebay to arrange a viewing.
