Seller's Note

1972 BULTACO Alpina 350 BLUE/SILVER

Hi, I built this bike from a barn find bike from the USA, it looked like someone had done some work but had a problem in the piston was tied to the bike. So I totally stripped it down to the last nut and bolt. The frame was powder coated and body work resprayed in cellulose paint all in the correct colours. All fasteners have been replace with Stainless Steel, replated or replaced with new. All other metal parts have been replaced, replated, polished , paint or powder coated. The wheel have been rebuilt on the original Akron rims with stainless nipples and spokes all from spain. Again from Spain new exhaust, seat, headlight. All other parts came from Bultaco uk with exception of the front guard which was an original second hand item. These parts included a new carb and electronic ignition. The engine had all new bearings, seals, piston and rebore, everything else was as new. The bike rides well on new TKC80's and NJB shocks, the front forks being re chromed. Selling as the only bike I have with a right hand gear which although I started riding this was around, never comfortable now with the change on modern busy roads.I have ordered a Triking sports car kit due to be started at the end of the year so both the money and space would be useful. I have not added up what it cost but it's most likely the wrong side of £6000, but I'm not counting it up, I enjoyed the process so what the hell had more fun for 9 months than any 2 week holiday I'm in no hurry to sell and have a realist...
