1981 YAMAHA XS750 Classic Vintage Triple Cafe Racer, 80's, Trike XS750 CB Shaft

Hi I'm selling my Yamaha XS 750. It was last on the road in 2002 and has been dry stored in "oily rag" condition saving it from the ravages of the weather. It's had 6 former keepers with a last change of ownership in 1994. It's in very good original condition, solid with minor general age related wear and tear. The XS750 is a three cylinder, shaft drive bike and as a consequence is a popular bike for trike conversions or donor engines. Plus points: Very original and extremely solid (dry stored)The engine spins freelyThere is a very good sparkTank is rust free inside with no leaksAll the dash lights workThe parking light, dip and main, indicators and brake light work. The horn doesn't work at the moment although the horn does "click".Motad 3:1 (stainless pipe and down pipes)Braided brake hosesNice 6 digit reg HUW 77W (Transferable)Hagon shocksKeys to ignition and fuel cap are present as is the V5 in my name. However the bike has stood since 2002 and hence the carbs need cleaning and whilst the bike can be pushed around the brakes are not completely free and will need a service. There is one side panel missing. There is a stone chip in the headlight lens. The front mudguard has corrosion on the tail edge and the rear mudguard has rust on the sides. There are a few stone chips here and there,a few minor dings and some minor corrosion as you would expect of a bike of this age. This bike would make a fantastic cafe racer or very straight forward restoration. Its a substantial bike...
