1982 SUZUKI GT250X7 RED - PROJECT BIKE
Up for reluctant sale is my 1982 GT250 X7. This bike is sold as a Non-Runner Sold as Seen I have owned her for the past 15 years; after having been bought her as a project for me and my dad to restore whilst off ill; we cleaned her up and she was used on dirt roads until I was old enough to go on the road. These bikes are an absolute gem of a 250cc - With the power band at 6,000RPM guaranteeing a grin that will give the Cheshire Cat a run for its money! Having started first time without issue or fail for 4 years; 2 months after passing my test, she blew a piston ring. Having changed out the rings; to no avail and being 17; needing a bike and with the money from my Moped burning a hole in my pocket I moved on to something else. She has since been sat round my parents waiting for the time and money to be spent on getting this amazing little bike back on the road. Alas it is time for someone else to have the pleasure of putting her back on the road. As you can see in the photo's the bike is not completely standard, it requires a strip down and i believe needs some welding completing on the tank. For someone who has the time and knowledge to get her back on the road this would be a great project bike!
