Here’s a cracking bargain for someone. 1983/4 Classic Kawasaki Z1000P Police Bike Great classic jap bike in very good standard condition. The paintwork has been re-done at some point in it life as can be seen in the pics, but apart from that the bike is virtually as it came from the police over in California, this is the more desirable early type with screen and not the big daft fairing of the later ones, so identical to those used in CHiPs TV programme in the 80’s. The only additions to the bike are goodrige brake hoses front and rear and a chrome turnout silencers for a nice deep throaty sound. The bike starts easily and everything works with no faults at all, and it runs as smooth and quiet as any Z1000 I’ve ever heard. These use the Z1000J engine and as such are absolutely bullet proof. The Gearbox and clutch are good too. The mileage on the clocks says 56000 but I doubt that is the the correct mileage. The bike has good tyres, brakes and electrics and it is MOT’d till April 2016.
