Kawasaki KDX 200 C2 1987 Air Cooled. I have listed this bike as spares or repairs due to gearbox fault, and the fact that it would need work to get it to MOT standard. It starts and drives up through all gears but will not downshift until engine is switched off, it will then downshift. It is road registered on a 'Q' plate and I have the full V5 in my name. I would say the bike is 95% complete, as far as I can see, chain guard is missing and it has the wrong tail pipe fitted which doesn't marry up to expansion chamber. It is 28 years old, and considering that, will obviously need attention to items such as suspension bushes, wiring, etc, but would make an excellent project, or ideal if you already own one of these and want to use as spares. These old air cooled enduro machines are becoming rare and I guess they will soon appreciate in value. It would break for more than the reserve I have set, but lack of time, and space mean it has to go. Viewing is recommended, bike is located in Hoddesdon, Hertfordshire, but could be viewed in Woodhall Spa, Lincolnshire depending on date. Clymer manual included.
