BMW R80 with RS Fairing
HI and thank you for looking at my auction. For sale is my 1991 R80. I also have a full RS fairing (painted in grey) to come with it. I have had it for a bit over a year and has never let me down. I really have to get a car now and can't afford both. The instruments are showing 18k mi but the tacho has been changed as some point, the real mileage is around 70k which is still not much for these bikes. If you a looking for one of these you already know the they are basically bulletproof. Some time ago it was knocked down while parked hence the damage to the plate, the right pannier and the front mudguard. It also has a scratch were the saddle rubbed trough the paint. I was planning of adding the RS fairing and respraying the whole bike but never manage to do so (time and money are never enough, sadly). The fairing is in good condition and complete (will need fasteners/screws/etc.). The bike comes equipped with a recent sealed odyssey batter. It is taxed until 1st March but the MOT has run out so the winning bidder will need a trailer (also for collecting the fairing). All in all it would be a good run-around as it is or it could be brought to it's former glory with a bit of TLC.
