Kawasaki Zephyr 750 ZR750 D1 Classic, Retro Z1 / Z900 Look a like

Thanks for looking at my 1997 Zephyr D1 Classic, I gave the bike to a trader on a sale or return basis last week, unfortunately he was unable to sell this bike so I am selling it myself. As the owner of the bike for the past 10 months I may be able to answer a few more questions and supply a description with a better degree of accuracy and detail. From what I have been told a lot of people were interested in the bike but were questioning what the bike actually is. To clarify, THIS IS A Kawasaki Zephyr D1 Classic. It has all the D1 goodies, the wire wheels and the additional chrome parts such as the shocks. The confusion seems to come from the paint work. It is plain black, I am aware that these originally came in black and grey or burgundy and orange. I do not know why the bike is plain black, it was black when I bought it, it was black when the previous owner bought it and according to the old MOT's it's been black for a good number of years. There is a reciept in amongst the paperwork for a fuel tank. Whether this means the bike suffered some damage or more likely this means that the bottom of the tank rotted (which if you know your Zephyr's you'll know is very common) I do not know. I did think about returning it to the factory stock paint work or even possibly doing it in the tiger colours (dark green and yellow) which aren't available in the UK but very popular in Japan. I then decided that the true classic combination of black and chrome actually does suit the bike bett...
