K1200LT BMW The Ultimate tourer
Hi, Please find attached pictures of my K1200LT, it's a 1999 model which remained practically unchanged right through to 2006, and it is in my opinion probably the finest looking bike of this kind then and now! If it sells for the asking price I'll put a fresh MOT on it. But no stupid offers please This isn't a car boot sale!Here is a list of the creature comforts onboard, YES all of them work, Electrically adjustable screen Cruise Control ABS Brakes Radio/Cassette/MP3 hook up via the cassette Onboard Trip Computer (Miles in Tank etc.) Onboard Air Temperature Heated Grips Heated Seat Heated Passengers Seat Heated Passengers Backrest Top Box Vanity Mirror and Light (Honestly) Reverse Gear 2 x 12v power outlets Height adjustable seat 51k miles, good for another 50k at least, check out the web sites, Shaft Drive New Battery last year and always kept on a optimate Complete New Braided Brake Lines 18 months ago at least 250miles to a tank, I've had 280 and thought I'd better fill up as i didn't want to be pushing it. Smooth turbine like power, handles better than it's got any business to!! being the lump that it is. Tons of storage, Best to come and see it in the flesh. Some of the pictures show it with the top box removed, I made a little flat bed rack at the back as I quite like the look of it off, you can a buy a special bracket to do the same job, but I built my own, it goes with the bike and it's purely cosmetic for when the top box is off, takes about 15min to swap back over...
