BMW R1100rt
Hi, up for auction is my very reliable R1100rt BMW. I really do not want to sell this bike but mounting debts leave me no choice. In the main it is in very good condition with a few very minor blemishes to the paint work. These can only really be seen on close inspection. It has the usual BMW toys,1 key does all, electric screen ( working ), 2 stage BMW heated grips (working), accessories socket (working), ABS brakes (working), hazard lights (working). I have fitted a pair of led daytime riding lights and a full HID dual filament (dip & main) headlight kit. The bike rides and handles very well and has no problem hitting 120 should the mood take you. Now for the niggly bits. The small black side panel that covers the pre load adjuster and rear brake master cylinder on the right is missing (shown in pics), I think it came off on a motorway journey(suspect I didn't clip it on properly after cleaning bike). These can be sourced from Motorworks for about £55 new or less for a used one. It will need a new front tyre for the next mot (see pic), rear tyre is ok and it needs a new battery (about 54 quid off ebay). It can be started with jump leads. There are some marks on side boxes and there is no topbox. The tax has expired so it is currently sorned, there is a post office nearby so it can be taxed before new owner rides away. The MOT runs out in September and a new front tyre would see it pass. It has done 35,067 miles and I have every MOT certificate from the first one in 2002 so ...
