2000 X PIAGGIO X9 250 cc 15K year's MOT Honda powered luxury tourer scooter
Piaggio X9 250 Piaggio's X9 range of scooters are a well established model with a proven track record for reliability, easy to ride and and for being very comfortable. They are more a 'luxury/tourer' bike that can be ridden either feet forward or more sat up, the big screen gives great weather protection and is very practical with a comprehensive dash, small cubby hole, glove box and massive underseat storage bay with 12V power socket. Piaggio fitted Honda 250 engines to this model before they developed their own motor which are regarded as being very reliable and give good mpg, fast enough to stay out of the motorway lorry lane and nimble enough for town :) This bike was used as an emergency bike by the owner as his custom bike had extensive work done at the dealers, it got him to work for a few months and didn't miss a beat and is sadly only being sold as he got his bike back and needs the space. The bike is in great condition and been looked after, it starts on the button sounding nice and smooth, it pulls nicely and runs and rides fine. The lights etc all work as they should and has recently passed the MOT giving it a year's ticket so is ready to ride away, it has excellent Pirelli Diablo tyres and has an after market pillion back rest. It isn't perfect as it looks like it fell over in the past with a crack on the plastic exhaust shield and by the pillion footwell, the temperature and fuel dial needles go up to max but it does have a trip meter and low fuel light ;) A sup...
