THIS IS A LOW MILEAGE OUTFIT ONLY 7080 KMS FROM NEW. WAS ON THE ROAD FOR FIVE YEARS THEN PUT IN STORAGE FOR THE NEXT NINE YEARS UNTIL BOUGHT BY ME LAST SEPTEMBER. NOW BEEN RE-COMMISSIONED AND FETTLED INTO REASONABLE RUNNING ORDER.IT SUFFERED SOME CORROSION AND TIME RELATED DETERIORATION DURING ITS LAY UP MOST OF WHICH HAS BEEN RECTIFIED. THE PAINTWORK IS NOT PERFECT BEING PATCH PAINTED IN PLACES. THERE IS STILL SOME MINOR CORROSION BUT THIS IS CONSISTENT WITH A URAL OF THIS AGE. DETAILS - NEW IGNITION SYSTEM, NEW GENERATOR, BATTERY AND REGULATOR, ONE WHEEL REBUILT, PETROL TANK REPLACED, MODERN BLADE FUSE HOLDERS, SOLO GEARING FITTED FOR MORE RELAXED CRUISING ( ADEQUATE POWER AVAILABLE). MORE HAS BEEN DONE TOO NUMEROUS TO MENTION OR REMEMBER AT PRESENT.THIS BIKE IS A TYPICAL URAL, DOESN`T DO FAST 60MPH BEING BEST COMFORTABLE CRUISING RATE. REVERSE GEAR IS VERY HANDY AND AMUSING FOR BYSTANDERS. THE ELECTRIC START IS NOW RELIABLE AND A BONUS AS THE KICKSTART IS AWKWARD BEING ON THE SIDECAR SIDE. THE BIKE IS ON THE ROAD READY TO ROLL AND IS IDEAL TO USE AS IS OR IMPROVE AS YOU GO. THERE ARE SOME SPARES TO GO WITH IT. GASKETS, SEALS, OIL FILTER, ETC.
