Please Read Advert Fully. Thanks..... Here we have for sale my 2004 Harley Davidson V-Rod VRSCA. I was gonna keep this bike forever but it seems appropriate that I now sell it. The Story: I bought this bike last year to go to the Brechin Harley Davidson Rally. Shortly after this I took it up to see my mate who reckoned the bike looked crap and that it needed a good clean! Cheeky Git...... He offered to clean the bike for me as it was a hobby of his (some would say obsession) as he reckoned "It would give him a reason to get up in the morning". My friend had terminal cancer. So it began. I removed the wheels, rear belt carrier and front mudguard to allow for easier access. The amount of different tools used and 'made' by my mate to clean my bike was amazing, anything from toothbrushes to cotton buds to reshaped screwdrivers to aluminium polishing kits and so on..... Now, although it is not absolutely pristine or a show bike, but for an 11 year old 'Brushed Aluminium' (not painted) Harley Davidson I reckon it's up there with the best of them! Silly auld b.....r even blackened the tyres, yip even the treads lol........When I saw it I kinda laughed then thought, "mmmm? that'll be slippy on the way home......" Just to let you know (but you've guessed) he wasn't a biker. He had a saying that he used during and after the bike was completed...... "What a ####### carry on!" Sadly, my mate is no longer with us.
