BMW K1200 RS, 2005 Sports tourer, panniers
Here is my late, 2005 K1200RS for sale, it is one of the last of this model as production stopped after 2005. This is an ex police bike and I have eleven A4 size pages covering the extensive service history whilst in use by the Cornwall police force. The bike was originally in white while in use by the police but has since been sprayed black sometime prior to being in my possession. Included are matching black/grey panniers. The bike is an RS model but was upgraded to police spec by the addition of an electric screen and extra fairing protection, as seen on the GT models. All signs of being an ex police bike have been previously removed and the bikes appearance is as a standard road bike. It also has ABS brakes, factory Heated grips, and I recently fitted a new rear hugger, there is also a non-electronic cruise control fitted. It has just had an oil and filter change and new rear brake pads. Also, it has a brand new pair of Bridgestone 021 tyres, that have not been on the road yet but might get slight use during the term of this ad. It is mot'd until 11/5/2015, it is also taxed until May 2015 There are no faults and everything works perfectly, including the servo braking system. It starts easily every morning and there is no smoke from the exhaust on start-up and the engine sounds really nice.
