Seller's Note

2008 KTM 690 DUKE WHITE

KTM 690 Duke III 2008 White, including hand guards, tail tidy, extended fly screen, handle bar bag.. I've had this bike for the last 2 years and covered between 3-4000 dry enjoyable miles on it. The Quill end can shown in some of the pictures has already been sold, so isn't included but to be honest these big singles run much better with the standard can. If your not familiar with this model it has an adjustable ecu setting allowing you to alter power delivery to soft setting, standard and agressive. When viewing I'm quite confident you will agree it is a very clean. Having experience of bad dealerships in the past I have maintained the bike myself to a very high standard. The light weight engine parts are simular to motorcross race engines, oil pumps and clearances are set to very small tollerances thus demanding a very high spec oil. I believe I have two or three receipts for the Motorex fully synthetic oil and genuine KTM filters. At about £18 per litre no expence has been spared to protect the engine, given that it's been changed more than KTM's recommended service schedule. It's had a new uprated battery recently, Motorex coolant, a brand new rear (Michelin Pilot Road 4) rear tyre, and I've also fitted a cooling fan manual over ride switch as the the standard switch doesn't operate until the temperature reaches 102 degrees. Although it's designed to run at this temperature it's always better to have the option to switch the fan on when static in traffic for long periods....
