BMW G650GS Modified For Adventure Riding
2011 G650GS heavily modified for adventure riding OK, so Ive come to the conclusion that my little buddy Gunther needs a new home. He's a 2011 G650GS with 13,500 miles. I bought him 12 months ago as a stock example but since then he's been kitted out with all top quality extras and taken me around most parts of Europe, both on and off road, without missing a beat. There are scratches to the plastics as can be seen in the images and the two rear plastics under the grab rails have split as the previous owner used soft panniers without a support.Oil changed every 3,000 miles religiously no matter where I am (last big service was late as he was out of the Country) and the bike has been well looked after and garaged when not in use.Absolutely mechanically sound bike with a lot of quality components fitted.Really easy bike to ride, no problem if you find yourself in the wrong gear and he pulls well under load. 65/70 to the gallon all day long with enough off road capability to get you well off the beaten track for campingSo, to sum him up: 2011, 13,500 miles, MOT til Feb 15 (just had his first MOT this year) Taxed until Oct 2014Rear ABS factory heated grips. Within last 3,500 miles - new battery, new Metzeler Tourance tyres, steering head bearing (replaced because the originals were supposed to be poor poor quality rather than because of any fault), big service incl. valve clearances, chain and sprockets.
