2012 TRIUMPH SPRINT ST 1050 GREEN
Triumph Sprint ST January 2012. British Racing Green.This is the last model before the GT superceeded it; it has the GT fairing and much improved headlights which I've also updated to HID. MOT'd for 11 months. Fitted with Corbin seat which, apart from being far more comfortable, is released with a key; not the daft Triumph fixing screws. It has a GPS Speedo fitted (as well as original) and a MRA adjustable screen. Also fitted with rear hugger and 'bar risers. Tyres are less than half worn. That's all the good stuff; the not so good stuff is as follows; Bike has 19000 miles on it and I am the 3rd registered owner, although I've had it 2 years and done 12000 miles on it. It was a "Cat. "D" machine; the 2nd owner bought it at auction, repaired it (Plastic and paint) and sold it to me. So he only owned it for 2 weeks and test rode it after repair. There is no way anyone would know either looking or riding it that it was written off after an accident; Insurance companies are mad.. (And that's yours and my premium money they are paying out!). There is no record of service book but I have done oil/filters/pads/ chain/sprockets; in short, whatever it needed. I use my bikes and maintain them accordingly. I have just ordered a new Yamaha and been offered a fair part ex for the Triumph so please don't try offering me silly money; the asking price I think is fair given all I have stated. The bike is is in very good condition; it's always garaged and washed after every dirty or salty ride...
