Vintage Motorcycle with Sidecar
This bike is an Ariel Model A with sidecar first registered in 1928. The bike has a 557cc side valve engine and 3 speed Sturmey Archer hand change gearbox. This bike was fully restored in 2007 and has been used regularly since. It has completed the last 7 Banbury Runs with a sidecar passenger including ascending Sunrising Hill. The bike starts easily and runs well. Unusually for the period the bike has decent sized and effective brakes. The bike is exempt from MOT testing and the road tax is free; I have the old MOT certificates going back to 1999. The bike is in excellent condition so ready to ride or show. Please note that the gas lighting system needs re-commissioning. The bike can be viewed by prior arrangement; I can be contacted on 07900 19034 to arrange or to answer any questions. The bike is collection only. I would like £1000 paid by Paypal at the end of the auction with the balance paid either cash on collection or collection after funds are cleared in my account. Happy bidding.
