Sunbeam S7 Deluxe 1955
Up for sale my much loved Sunbeam S7 Deluxe. I have owned this bike since 2005. I’m selling to part fund the purchase of a new bike. I am the 3rd owner since new and I have detailed information concerning the bikes history from first registration. It still retains the original registration number which is of value in itself. I have tax discs and MOTs going as far back as 1986. During my ownership I've carried out a full restoration and as a result have a full catalogue of receipts for parts purchased and work completed. The engine has been completely rebuilt with new pistons & rings, big ends, reground crank and rebored block, new crankshaft bearings. Both head and block skimmed. New valves, valve guides springs & caps. New timing chain, cam shaft and reconditioned rocker arms and a Stewart Engineering breather fitted to the rocker cover. I have also fitted the Stewarts Sump spacer and filter plate. Rebuilt distributer, new weights springs, seal, rotor arm New exhaust nuts and downpipes and stainless steel flexi-pipe New clutch plates and friction plate, the modern borg and beck sprung type, which makes for a lighter clutch action. I've rebuilt the front and rear universal joints on the drive shaft & fitted new seals to the gearbox and the rear drive. Amal concentric carb fitted together with choke lever. New wiring loom, dynamo rebuilt using new armature, brushes and field coils. electronic regulator. New 6v. Varta battery New saddle cover by Leightons and new saddle assembly...
