LE Velocette Mk.II Spares or Repair
Velocette LE MkII 200cc Hand lever start Hand gear change 1956 I have owned this bike since 1990 and have had it on the road from time to time. I can no longer see another opportunity to be able to ride it again so it is time for a new home. Sadly, I have had to retain the original registration number as it was worth much more than the bike. A new number has been issued but I have not bought any plates. V5c in my name. To retain the number, the Velocette had a daylight MOT which has run out. This is why the lights etc. have been removed - they are included in the sale. Selling as spares or repair because, although it did run for the MOT, I think it will need a fair bit of tinkering before being completely road worthy. It is more or less complete.The gears and clutch are fine and there were no nasty knocks last time it was running. Still on the original Miller electrics and points which could do with upgrading. Lucas type back lens fitted. A good base for restoration. It would be a shame for it to be broken for spares.
