1958 BSA A10 Golden Flash 650cc, basket case with V5C original reg NO RESERVE

1958 BSA A10 Golden Flash 650cc with V5C, spares or repairs NO RESERVE! Here is a brilliant project for the knowledgable BSA enthusiast! The BSA A10 Golden Flash is pound for pound one the best all round British Classic bikes, ideal for most classic motorcycling purposes. This example has had a lot of money already spent, for example wheels & tyres, nice tank, seat etc. Of course, there is more to it than just an assembly job but this is a good mostly complete basket case which shouldn’t cost the earth to finish off. The bike comes with V5C , registration number WOB 169 (original & transferable). Date of registration is 12th March 1958. Frame number is FA7.3642, engine number is DA10.2315. I have checked these numbers in the BSA factory records and they are the matching numbers for the bike which was despatched to “County Cycle” in Birmingham on 6th March 1958. It was originally black in colour. The bike is pre-60 MOT exempt and is eligible for free “Historic Vehicle” class road tax. The engine has the name THOMAS HAWKES stamped onto it underneath the engine number - I’ve no idea who he was (or is!). The frame has been powder coated but is now a bit “shop-soiled”. It is not bad & I would say very good for a used bike but it is not as new so if that’s what your after it may need to be re-done. The tank has perfect chrome and decent enamel but road -rocket silver instead of the staid black. Wheel rims are like new, as are spokes , nipples & tyres! So there’s a few quid saved! T...
