1961 Matchless G3 EX DUTCH ARMY MODEL
For sale or Part Ex for INTERESTING Matchless twin…….Really want a late G15CS (Norton Engined) but maybe interested in another bike. I bought this bike in 1998 after it had been set alight by Kids that stole it. It a matching numbers bike including the gearbox it left the factory with. I started to restore it as a road model but due to business commitments it has not been touched for at least 12 years and now is suffering. I had the original Dunlop rims chromed but unfortunately by a cowboy outfit in Croydon and they have failed badly. Engine and box have been bead blasted and rebuilt with new seals, bearings etc by my late perfectionist Father. All cycle parts/Tinware was shot blasted and stove enamelled which in the main is still good (No rust). The bike is currently on a Q registration (with V5 in my name) and comes with a dating certificate and a note from AJSMOC dating officer confirming it is the original engine and gearbox. Obtaining an age related plate will be no trouble. New parts include. TyresSwing arm BushesFork sealsFork shrouds etc ect...
