Moto Guzzi Nuovo Falcone
Due to lack of space and another project in the offing, reluctantly I have decided to let go my Nouvo Falcone NF500. I have enjoyed her ownership over the past year and she has been used reliably for local VMCC runs. These NF500's attract a lot of attention and have a charm and simplicity that is really quite endearing. This machine was rebuilt by its previous owner, an engineer, who fitted a new clutch and undertook a top end overhaul including new valves and springs. He also took the opportunity to fit a clutch lightener. The Guzzi is fitted with a Dynastart which works best when the engine is warm, although she is very easy to start in the traditional manner having a compression of 6.85:1. She comes with leg shields fitted, and in addition I have a good quality pillion seat, ammunition boxes and a handlebar fairing and screen which are not fitted. In addition, there are a number of spares, a good quality tool kit, plus a range of special tools and a huge amount of documentation including manuals and parts lists. In terms of condition, I would say she is pretty good. The chrome on the wheels is reasonable and the paintwork is very good with a couple of patches of rust on the rear mudguard.
