Ural Cossack M66 Project Bike.

Ural Cossack M66 Project Bike. I purchased the Ural in 2012. Since passing my test a year later the bike has basically been stored as I purchased another bike shortly after. It had been used as a winter bike and had been modified with a different front end and a 12 volt charging system utilising a car alternator with belt drive from the modified dynamo. The frame was totally stripped, blasted and powdercoated black. The wheels also received the same treatment. The engine was running fine with no unusual noises and as such has been left alone. It was my intention to bring the bike back to a more standard state. I sourced Ural forks and yokes and mudguards. The bike has had: New Clutch Taper Roller bearing head conversion Swing arm bushes Factory Racing risers to enable 7/8" handlebars New wheel bearings Mitas 4.00x 19 block pattern tyres. As illustrated in the images, there are some spares including an M67 manual. Not shown are two pairs of forks in rough condition but may be useful for the internals/ fork bottoms. the tank has been largely stripped with some paint still to remove before prep/paint. It is a little rusty inside and may require treatment. The original tank had been modified for twin fuel taps. Three of the mudguards( one rear/ two front) have been blasted and powdercoated to preserve them. The pair of carbs are Mikuni. I must stress that ALL the electrics/ wiring loom etc will require replacement due to the previous conversion. The V5 is present and in my name. ...
