1977 HONDA GREEN
Here we have my Honda ss50 1977 R.reg.I have owned this bike for aprox. 15 years,it was bought for my stepson to use,which he did but only for a short while,as he did not take to motorcycles.When we bought it it had an ammount of work done to tidy it up,tank painted,seat recovered,and as you can see quite a few other bits,its not been used for 10 years plus so its time for it to go it has been started quite often to keep the cogs turning,I have fitted a new battery all the electrics seem to work o.k,when you operate the clutch it has a slight whine but goes into gear and changes gear with no problems.it would make a good restoration project,or a bit of tinkering and use as is,as its a very tidy bike its only short of the pedal system which seem readiy available on ebay.The bike is 38 years old so dont expect a new one, a few downsides front mudgaurd has a dinge, and the rear one has some rust,it will need quite a bit of chrome work doing to make perfect, it starts and runs o.k but maybe a set of rings and a good service would do it good.Unsure on the mileage as i have no previous history,it has a small piece of foam between the tank and seat to stop the seat from rubbing the paint,and two tie wraps holding the kikstart rubber on as its split (saves you asking} think thats about it but any questions please ask,and viewing welcome, Please email me with a land line contact no .if below 20 feedbacks as we all have to start somewhere,no overseas bidders please as will not ship,als...
