Seller's Note

Triumph Trident T160v. 1977. Barn find. Restoration project. Classic

Genuine barn find, Triumph Trident T160V, for restoration. The bike is complete, has benefitted from a twin disc conversion and alloy wheels at some stage in its life, other than that it looks reasonably standard and all there. It has been standing for a considerable time and is being sold as a non runner, it was apparently ridden into storage but I cant verify that 100%. It kicks over ok, the clutch releases and all gears seem to select. There is old fuel in the tank and I guess the carbs have gunked up, I have not attempted to start it or put a battery on. The front master cylinder is stuck but wheel turns. Be aware that it will be sold as found, dirty, rusty but solid and in need of restoration. It is showing 70k+ miles on the clock but I can't verify that. Ignition key is missing. I have the v5c and it is a matching numbers bike, prefix NK. I am selling this reluctantly, I have wanted a Trident since the 70's, however I have too many bikes needing work and do not have time or expertise for this one. Please ask any questions before you bid and bid to buy, come and take a look by all means. Cash on collection please, don't want the Paypal fees as you can understand.
