This was cured by fully servicing the calipers, fitting new pistons, pads, and having the discs skimmed, a pair of new Conti tyres, and a set of progressive rear shocks from the USA took care of the running gear.Other parts fitted included a new battery, and carburetor float needles. The front crash bars, and silencers were re-chromed, main stand was powder coated, and rocker covers vapor blasted, and that completed our work.I had the pleasure of doing a road test covering 132 miles, and can confirm she runs very well, is stable at high speeds, and stops very impressively assisted by the linked braking system.
