Kawasaki KLX 250A2 Twinshock
Classic, 1980 twinshock Enduro bike. Fully road legal.I bought this bike last year with the intention of doing some green lane riding locally but never got around to it.When I purchased the bike I spent some considerable time (and money) getting the bike road legal which involved fitting a regulator to ensure that the lights would work irrespective of the engine rev's, brake light, horn and speedo. I fitted a smaller sprocket on the rear wheel to drop the rev's when using it on the road. It's fitted with an Allen's after market carburetor and filter, however the original air box was retained to keep the muck off the filter.The plastic bodywork is in reasonable condition, with some fading etc. as you'd expect from a bike that's 35 years old.The engine starts and ticks over well and doesn't smoke.The gearbox occasionally jumps in 4th gear, all other gears are fine.No MOT or TAX, however it's only done 168 miles since last MOT!
