1981 HONDA CB125T custom Bobber Chopper Learner legal
Here is my 1981 Honda CB125T Bobber that i am regrettably selling. I have just moved home and its a 7 mile journey on the bypass everyday so i wont get to use it as much as i would like and i could do with the money to do the house up (well, its actually funds towards the build of a garage there, but don't tell the wife) so its now someone else's chance to have fun on it. I bought it as a complete stock bike as you can see in the last photo and over a few months i turned it into a retro Bobber. I am a metal fabricator by trade and restore cars as a hobby so you can be safe in the knowledge that the frame and whole bike has been made well and strong. I wanted to make something like this for a long time so a lot of thought went it to the planning and building of it The list of things i have done are as follows:Stripped the frame, removed the swing arm and sub-frame and fab'd up a hard-tail that i welded on.shorter fork springs so they sit and 1 1/2" lower.Petrol tank off a DT125 with a road bike petrol tap.Shortened and upturned chrome exhausts with exhaust wrapping to neatening it all up. The exhausts also have baffles in them so they are a bit loud but not overly loud, goes with the image of the bike.4 older style indicators converted to 6v5" chrome headlight off a Yamaha dragster ( i think), also converted to 6vside mounted brake light and number plate.custom battery, reg/rec box with built in ignition switch.Rear mudguard is a front mudguard of an older CB125.Aluminium carb...
