Kawasaki GPZ550 D1 Modified / special Bike (Cafe Racer style)

Kawasaki GPZ550 D1. Registration RRR 882X. This had been modified by a previous owner, when I bought the bike it need a lot of TLC and was a non runner with no MOT. I completed what I would call was a partial restoration. Not really sure what style of bike to call this, it is a classic but I like to think it is a little like a Café racer with the rear sets and drop bars fitted. You will have to decide. Registered in 30/11/1981 I have owned the bike since 05/03/2004 so owned for 11 years. I first mot'd it in 2009 took me a long time to get it done as I had too many other projects on the go, including building a two storey extension on the house. I have all of the MOT's from my ownership and some from previous owners. Just mot’d last week so has a full 12 months with no advisory’s. Expires on the 12th March 2016 The bike looks great and is always complimented when I am out and about not just due to it’s age but the way it looks generally. It is in very good condition, but as with all of these statements it is a personal opinion and I would suggest you come and look to make your own mind up. The bike is not standard and although I have called at a D1 this is purely so you are aware what it started life as. It has been modified in the following way; Converted to over the top single rear shock absorber in combination with an aluminium swinging arm. Plastic hugger fitted over rear wheel. Rask rear sets fitted complete with rear pegs. Motad 4 into 1 exhaust system Clubman handle bar...
