1986 HONDA RED
hello and welcome to my auction , this is my Honda xl 600 from 1986, I have spent a fortune rebuilding this bike from the ground up and have had to source parts from usa, the wheels have been rebuilt with new rims and stainless spokes on the original hubs, the plastic kit came from the states but is not as good as original but originals are not really available so needs must, I also sourced the seat from the states along with chain guides and swingarm slider, I have renewed forkseals and brake shoes and pads, I have had the frame and swingarm powder coated, this is a kickstart only bike but has an automatic decompressor so is not to bad to start, also I have removed the indicators but I do still have these so are available to buyer, I have not painted the tank as I liked the way it looked , the rear light unit was missing when I bought the bike so I have had to replace it with an aftermarket part small LED, there are some bad points I think it needs a clutch kit which are available and it also needs a new throttle cable it has a push pull system but one has broken so I have just got one on it just now, apart from that the bike runs great and I use it back and forward to work but I am looking to buy a new trials bike so I need the money so it has to go, I am happy to answer any questions cheers.
