Honda CBR600F-L
Hi, Thank you for visiting my auction. I bought this Honda CBR600F-L back in 1996 soon after I passed my bike test. I used the bike for a few years then my daughter was born and I decided to declare the bike SORN and keep it in my garage, where it stayed for at least 10 years. Last year I decided to get the bike back on the road. It has an MOT (runs out on the 4th April 2015) and TAX until 31st March 2015. The winning bidder will be able to ride the bike home if they have suitable insurance cover. The bike has been garaged while I have owned it and has not been ridden in the rain, apart from when I have been unluckily caught out by the British weather. The back tyre is fairly new, done about 2,000 miles. The front tyre is also in pretty good condition. There are a few things that I want to point out about the bike: The bike is 25 years old and has age related wear and tear. The fairings are 'Patterns' fitted by a previous owner, they have some small cracks and the paint is chipped in places. In my opinion (please note, I am not a mechanic) I think the clutch will need replacing soon, it is getting to the end of it's life. I have repaired the exhaust, it started blowing so I fitted a collar near to where it attaches to the engine and a patch lower down. This seems to have done the trick because it has been fine for the last 3 months.
