ZX9-R B1 Hi and welcome to my listing for my ZX9R. I have owned this bike for around 18 months and in this time have only done some 400 miles due to having another bike and lack of time. I originally bought this as a runabout with the intention of making it a rolling restoration. Lack of time and motivation put paid to that so it has sat in my garage largely unmoved but partially stripped down. Space requirements and also desire for a different style lead to me now selling this great bike. Due to lack of use the bike has developed a running problem (dirty carbs) so it is currently with a local garage where it is being recommissioned by way of carb cleaning and balancing, MOT and 2 brand new tyres are also being fitted as the current ones are marginal. The bodywork is not perfect, there are poorly painted sections, bits of damage but nothing major. Some prep work has already been done regarding repair and painting to some panels. The pictures in the listing were from when I initially bought the bike and to be honest, it doesn't look a whole lot different now save for removed stickers etc. A couple of the panels were really tatty and have been replaced with better condition items, as has the tank due to the paint wearing very thin on the top by the filler cap. This is a very honest bike and is not suffering from the head gasket issue that afflicted some of these models.
