1996 SUZUKI TS 50 ERKX BLACK
Suzuki TS50x, 1996 model in reasonable condition for its age. I bought this for my son in Dec 2012. Over the next 3 months we stipped it down and it was all cleaned, greased, frame,swing arm and forks painted and rebuilt. It had new chain & sprockets, new conti tyres, wheel bearings and a new piston,rings and small end bearing to finish it off. The bike has been used over the last two years just for pottering around on and has covered approx 1500 miles in that time. It is now on a SORN as it was taken off the road last week when my son moved up to a 125. There has been no major issues with the bike for the time we have had it and it has passed both MOT's no problem. One minor running issue we did have was with the carb, despite changing floats and needles it randomly leaked petrol, so the carb has been replaced with a scooter carb which works ok. The pictures of the bike are as it is now, it has not been painted since it was done in 2013. It is in good condition for a 19 yr old bike and has age related wear & tear on the tank and panels. The rhs side panel has been cut at some point to accomodate the big one exhaust, other than that the rest of the bike is pretty original. Ther is a little damage to the side casing where the chain has came off at some point. Please note: the bike has a 70cc big bore kit fitted so its slightly quicker than it should be.
