Moto Guzzi California 1100i 75th Anniversary Special This is a model created to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the marque and this particular machine is number 534 of the limited run of 750. It has had no requirement for replacement parts and as such is in completely original condition apart from the sympathetic installation of some accessories. It is in its original red and silver livery and carries the serial number validation plate on the top steering yoke. Incorporated as standard is Weber digital fuel injection which gives effortless starting and smooth running. The machine benefits from additional leather luggage panniers and chrome plated dresser bars which were all fitted at the point of original sale by the supplying dealer. There are front and rear mounted auxiliary spotlights which have been correctly wired into the electrical system using power relays and independent fusing, The are linked into the headlamp dip control switch. One unique adaption is the (discrete) installation of a high current electrical booster socket. This allows simple and totally safe connection of a slave battery in the event of the bikes own battery being flat. The booster socket is specified to allow full cranking power to be applied to start the engine. All servicing has been undertaken by a fully qualified motorcycle technician during the entire life of the machine. Only genuine service parts have been used.
