1998 BIMOTA 500 V-DUE.Owned from new! 2 stroke RGV TZR RS RG RARE

1998 Bimota V-Due 500cc 2 stroke motorcycle125hp model800 miles from new This extremely rare and collectable Bimota V-Due has been owned by my father from new, in fact myself and my father collected the Bike from the Factory in Italy! The bike is a 1998 Bike which was one of the last on the assembly line when the wolves finally came to the door of Bimota and as such was never sold. Once Bimota had been bought and the rights to finish the V-due acquired, Mondial group S.p.a sold the very few left were offered very exclusively in Milan and as such they sold very quickly and we were one of the very lucky few to acquire this fantastic machine! When we collected the Bimota, we were able to spec the bike to our taste and as such the ‘JOLLY MOTO’ carbon fibre cone welded under seat exhaust was fit from new. The bikes offered after closure were all fit with Dell’orto carburettors as the injection system on the early bikes were plagued with problems and as such never really worked at all from new. Since ownership, we have had the bike UK registered and have covered very few miles. The bike has never seen rain or even the notion of salt, and as such still looks as new. The bike runs exceptionally well and creates a sound of a GP bike of period. The bike has only been run on the finest Castrol 2 stroke race oil from new with very meticulous running in period and inspections at intervals.
