Honda Gyro Canopy Scooter/Moped *3 wheeled* Extremely Rare
For sale I have a Honda Gyro Canopy 49cc Motorcycle. As far as I am aware this is the only one in the UK. Sir Sterling Moss used to own one but sold it a few years back. The vehicle was first registered in the UK 19/03/2003 after it was imported for Japan. Unfortunately the owner before had it stolen off him and recovered by the police which means the ignition barrel will need looking at. I am a Motorcycle Engineer and have spent time in the past 6 months looking at the scooter getting it back to as good as shape as possible. I stripped the bike down to the chassis and replaced all serviceable parts (which I had imported from Japan), checked all connections and gave it a good clean. Unfortunately there are a few things that need looking at it and as I don't have the time due to the lease on my garage soon ending. The bike will need:Leather seat reupholstered to match interior.Ignition barrel either replacing or repairing.Electric start switch connection checking (the bike starts first time through kick-start but the electric start is a little temperamental) Taxing and MOT as it is currently SORN As you can see from the pictures these bikes are primarily used in Japan for 'fast food' deliveries but in the UK they are qwerky little scooters that will get you from A to B clean and dry.
