1999 TRIUMPH TRIDENT 900 CLASSIC RETRO TOURER ONLY 7297 MILES IMMACULATE
Reluctantly for sale is my immaculate Triumph 900 Trident. If you want a classic looking bike but without the hassles that go with an older bike, have a look at this! Faster (100 Bhp), smoother & better sounding that a Bonneville or Thunderbird. Same engine as a 900 Daytona. Lots of bikes are described as 'immaculate' but this one truly is! Take a look at the pictures, this bike hasn't been restored, or even 'detailed', it's just been dusted off after sitting in a living room! The mileage is a genuine 7297, backed up by MOT's & service records. What's wrong with it? There are a couple of chips at the front edge of the tank around the steering head. Minor scratch at tank rear which may just polish out & is actually quite hard to see. The plastic radiator guard has a small bit of rail cracked off, new guards are only £14.35 from Triumph. Front tyre getting low. What's right with it? The mileage is genuine & verifiable Totally standard! (**except stand) No rust / rot anywhere, time warp condition! Tank is squeaky, squeaky clean inside! Just had a full service & brake fluid flush. Runs like a watch! ** Side stand & bracket replaced with the later Trophy item as the standard ones bend, original stand included. Why sell it? I have a few classic bikes & intended this one to be part of my riding collection but a Thunderbird Sport has won my heart &, because they're twice the price of the Trident, I just can't justify having both.
