Cagiva River 500, easy project
Bought on impulse to use as a 2nd bike around town, with the intention of later making a flat-tracker "single" project. It was running (lumpy but not rattly), but hasn't been used at all this winter and since the mot ran out, I've got zillions of other things to do. Now it HAS to go as I'm moving house SOON, so no reserve. This is the one with the Italian copy of XT500 engine. It's monoshock, got Brembo's, Marazochi forks, it'll make a great cafe-racer, ratbike or flat-track project without spending much except time and paint. The battery was dead, it's on charge now and I'll try to get it started again but it'll need changing and will probably need fork-seals to get the MoT too (advisory last time, the seals come with it). It's only done about a hundred miles since the last one so everything important works. It's scabby all over, the paint everywhere is shocking (especially the wheels)! The Reg plate shown is illegally spaced, legal one included in sale. Bars are a bit bent from an old drop, but I've some shiny Renthal-like ones that I'll throw in too. Taxed till the end of the month, have keys, CD manual, and history. No reserve but you're bidding to buy not haggle, email me questions or to come and look if you need to. You WILL need to trailer / van this away or it'll be cheap enough to courier, but I am moving VERY soon so this HAS to go within days of winning. It'll be a bargain.
