HONDA HORNET CB600 F2-Y 2002, Silver, Heated Grips, Alarm
I bought this Honda Hornet only last year, intending to use it as a lighter/sportier alternative to my BMW Tourer for short trips and commuting. It never really got used though and as I've just got another BMW (Sports Tourer this time), I really can't justify having two bikes and therefore offer this one for sale. It has covered less than 24,500 miles and has only done just over 300 miles since I bought it last June. I bought it from a Honda main dealer and it was serviced before I collected it and came with 12 months MOT. There are several old MOTs with the paperwork and some sundry service receipts. Both keys are present.The bike is fitted with a Datatool System 3 Alarm which is fully operational. Previous owners have fitted sensible extras such as tinted screen, Oxford heated grips and Pyramid Hugger and Fender Extender. Together with the standard half fairing, this makes the bike usable all year round. Not sure how many miles the tyres have done, but you can see from the photos that there is plenty of tread left, both front and rear. The bike is presently taxed so if you want a road test before buying, this is not a problem. I must however insist that a cash deposit equal to the asking price is left as security before undertaking any such test. I must also point out that the bike is advertised elsewhere and I therefore reserve the right to end this listing early.
