BMW R1150GS Adventure Special Edition
You are bidding for a BMW R1150GSA Special Edition, on a 55 plate. It has just under 50000 miles on it, I am the second owner and have done all the servicing myself for the last few years (I am an engineer). This is considered by many to be the ultimate version of the ultimate round-the-world bike. It is the final release by BMW of the model used by Ewan and Charley in the ‘Long way round’ TV series. I had intended to keep the bike forever but a change in circumstances means it has to be sold. The bike comes with new BMW panniers, tank, crash bars, screen, beak, indicators and mirrors and new after-market adjustable foot pegs and a Baglux tank cover, tank bag and map holder. I have swapped the cat in the exhaust for a stainless steel Remus Y piece and have removed the brake servo as I didn't like it. The bike will come with a new MOT, two sets of keys the original cat, the lower rear mudguard piece and the brake servo (that was working when I removed it a couple of years ago), together with manuals, MOT, V5 etc. Only 90 Special Editions were ever imported into the UK so these are sought after and with all the new parts this one is in fantastic condition.
