CPI Hussar black 49cc moped / scooter for repair

CPI Hussar black 49cc moped that I bought during summer to learn about bikes and engines. Now the weather has cooled off a bit, I can't see myself giving time to it again, so I'm passing it on. V5 registration document transferred to your name. Collect from London NW3 I've been told that it has a good after-market exhaust and after-market suspension by a neighbour. It had an MOT and tax when I bought it, but I haven't had it re-MOT'd and it's declared as off the road. folder full of old road tax papers and old MOTs. Spare L plates too. Last time I was working on it, maybe a month ago, starter motor would turn over, and the engine would kick into life for maybe 5 - 10 seconds and then die out. I'm certain that it's an easy fix for someone with any experience, but I've lost interest in it. I gave it a new carburetor, which definitely gave the engine more bite, but didn't solve the problem. You can have both carburetors. Gave it a new cooling fan because the old one had broken fins. Fan cover had a hole melted in it which I've fixed with duct tape temporarily, but you'll probably want to replace if you don't want to scoot around something that looks like it's held together with tape. Hinge for the seat is also broken, but it's non essential and secure when it's closed. Bits and pieces in a plastic bag - wing mirrors, old battery, some sort of mounting plate for the rear of the bike. bodywork isn't in terrible shape - some scuffs and scratches, but I removed many of the panels to...
