About Rieju They are a Spanish motorcycle manufacturer predominately in the moped and small engined market. However, with this bike, they take the Yamaha 450 WRF engine (electric start/kick start combo) and then mount that into the Sherco 4.5i enduro bike frame, add a pair of quality Marzocchi fork and Sachs rear suspension and turn out a very capable enduro machine. About this bike Originally was destined for the 2011 Dakar but during it's early stages of conversion the sponsors pulled out. Rieju then boxed all the parts up and sold the bike as was.With my little knowledge of this type of bike I pieced it all back together including removing some brackets from rear sub frame and took up green laning in Wiltshire. I caught the bug So since then this bike has been used on average once every 2 weeks on the byways & highways, but it has never been raced and it has never been abused. I have learnt the hard way though so in the early days it got dropped quite frequently & hence there are a few scars & bruises. It has also been cleaned after every ride so much so that the decals are long gone. The front and rear lights are no longer original either but they do both work as do the horn and brake lights so the bike comes with a new MOT. (The little number plate is behind the legal one ;0) ) The side stand bracket was replaced and since then it has rubbed on the swing arm.
