Direct Bikes 50cc Tommy Retro Scooter
Hi there, Here I am selling my much loved Tommy Retro, Chinese imported 50cc scooter. This bike has served me very well in the last three years that I have owned it and it is a fantastic commuter. It truly does the job if you are travelling locally. However, if it is speed you are after, look elsewhere. The bike has a top derestricted speed of 40mph and up a hill it ranges been 10 and 20mph, much to the guys amusement who are driving behind you (not).Despite the speeds I have been very impressed with the bike. I was always interested in owning a retro looking scooter, unfortunately at the time I was 16 and I worked in a café (enough said). The bike in recent months has caused me minor troubles, hence why it is currently sat with a broken drive belt. This at a typical local mechanic will cost £40-50 to have repaired. As far as I am aware, apart from minor scratches caused by dreaded winter weather the drive belt is the only issue here. I am going to put the bike up to be bided on, please note this does not reflect the state of the bike it just simply deserves a new home. It will be available for pick up only, and a van may be required to transport the bike as it is rather heavy.
